More than ten months after they entered competitive play for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare through TeamWarfare League, 5th Special Operations Group has left the ladders and tournaments to take up competition in Call of Duty: World at War. =5th= competed in four ladders and one league for COD4 and has not yet decided how many or which COD5 ladders to enter. Tournament play, with its stiffer competition and greater reward, is a must for the 5th so their showing, and success can be expected among the first league tournaments this quarter. In the ladders played =5th= finished 3 - 1 in 6v6 Hardcore TeamDeathmatch. 35 - 7 in 6v6 Hardcore Sabotage. 24 - 22 in 5v5 Hardcore Search and Destroy. And 22 - 10 in 4v4 Hardcore TeamDeathmatch. Congratulations, and keep up the fight in World at War! Squad members Mace and CowTipper deserve special recognition for =5th='s success in the COD4 competition. While all =5th= members played hard and were essential for winning matches, Mace and CowTipper kept the squad steadily focused on competative play, built up moral and enthusiasm in dark hours, and kept the squad strong through nearly a year of play. Moving on to the next set of tournaments, ready and prepared, =5th= can draw on its strength and cohesion to build a greater season of play in Call of Duty: World at War.
